Burlotto Barolo Monvigliero 2011

Another great, superb, over-the-top-good vintage for Monvigliero. As usual.And  I’m prepared to dance, to steal from our friends and shout glorious, boldface type adjectives of praise in all caps, to foam at the mouth, just to try to say: If you have admired this wine in the past, even a little, then you must have some of the 2011. Nebbiolo pairs well with big flavors such as rich lamb and beef dishes, stews, any mushrooms or root vegetables, veal, and aged cheeses.
