Full dark red. Musky, exotic aromas of raspberry liqueur, plum and white pepper. Sweet raspberry and spice flavors display modest nuance but come across as juicy and penetrating; the Petit Verdot element shows up in the wine's licorice component. Not at all a funky style of Syrah.
