70% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre, and 20% Syrah from clay-limestone soil terraces facing Montmirail. The grapes are hand harvested, then fermented separately. 21 day maceration on the skins then blended and 12-18 months in vat. ,The farm of Le Mas des Flauzieres was orginally attached to the Medieval castle of Entrechaux and was taken over by the Benoit family in the late 1800s. In 2002, the youngest member of the family, Jerome Benedict, took over the farm and started his independent winery near Mont Ventoux and Dentelles de Montmirail.
