J Rochioli Sweetwater Chardonnay 2012

This wine has the classic mineral, baked apple and ripe peach aromas with a trace of vanilla and roasted nuts. Very rich and complex, this wine has balanced flavors one would expect from this classic field selection and hillside planting. It also provides a firm structure and crisp acidity and has a history of aging well. This is another fine wine from the special hillside vineyard planted to the Old Wente field selection.

Chardonnay pairs well with poultry dishes, pork dishes, shellfish, and soft cheeses.
