Screw Kapa Napa (SKN) Merlot

Medium brick red and sweet cherry vanilla aromas lead into a ripe explosion of dried fruits such as blueberries, cranberries and strawberries. The palate is sweet and supple with rich cherry and crushed raspberry with light vanilla. This is great with thin crust pizzettas like Quattro formaggio, fennel salads with arugula, fettuccine Bolognese and roasted chicken breast with marjoram and oregano over soft polenta.

Merlot is a perfect match for beef and other medium-heavy dishes. It pairs wonderfully with rich, red pasta sauces, pork, turkey, beef, veal, pheasant, and garden salads. Merlot is also an excellent compliment to chocolate.
