Distilled in the small town of Amatitan, the tequila captial of Jalisco, Puro Verde is endorsed by the USDA and certified organic by the globally renowned BioAgriCert. Through sustainability and the best practices of organic farming, the purity and tradition of crafting fine tequila is preserved. In lieu of fertilizers and pesticides, the byproducts of the agave during harvest and fermentation is used as natural compost. Puro Verde is also cultivated with purified water from a 600 foot estate well at the base of the Tequila Volcanic Mountain Range, fermented naturally without the use of yeast, distilled with stainless steel containers, and clarified through cold filtration and layers of micron filters. This organic, environmental approach produces a fresh, clean and crisp spirit that preserves the true taste of rich agave.
