Since the release of Brother Thelonious in 2006, North Coast Brewing has donated over $1 million from proceeds of the sale of the beer and gear to support the Jazz education programs of the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz. Like a Belgian Dark Strong Ale, this beer is rich and robust with an ABV of 9.4%.
