Gran Centenario® Reposado is distilled from carefully selected blue agave and rested in new American oak, resulting in a 100% agave tequila of perfect balance and smoothness. Our Reposado is the winner of various awards, including a DOUBLE GOLD MEDAL from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. (80 proof). Established in 1857 by Lázaro Gallardo, Gran Centenario® Tequila remains a family-owned business and is still crafted in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico at Ex Hacienda Los Camichines. The First Maestro Tequilero Lázaro Gallardo is claimed to be the first tequila master distiller (maestro tequilero) in history, as he created the Selección Suave process. By this process, he would only pick the richest, smoothest tequila and blend them together, creating a product with superior quality. This process is still in place while producing our tequila.
