The Maestro Dobel 50® Anniversary Series was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our founder, Juan Dobel, by presenting a tequila that enhances what it means to be a Maestro Tequilero with the greatest virtue: that of sharing. Each year, Dobel will produce a limited edition to honor 50th celebrations including birthdays, anniversaries and milestones. Dobel 50® 1970 is an exceptional edition that integrates our finest tequilas aged in French oak barrels and finished in Amarone barrels. This Extra Añejo tequila is a silky smooth liquid, crafted from 100% blue agave sourced from a family-owned, single estate in the volcanic lowlands of Tequila, Mexico. The artisanal process includes slow-cooking, slow double-distillation and a unique refinement process. This compelling spirit heightens the senses, from its marriage of caramel, honey, agave and dried fruit aroma, to its voluminously rich taste and long finish.
