A delicious and cooling Fourth of July cocktail to enjoy while you're firing up the grill.

Ingredients
- 1 ½ partsBasil Hayden's Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- ½ partsfresh lemon juice
- ¾ partssimple syrup
- blackberries
- fresh mint leaves
- 2-3 partssparkling wine
Tools
- Cocktail Shaker
- Strainer
- Lowball Glass
Directions
- Muddle blackberries and mint leaves in a shaker with simple syrup.
- Add Basil Hayden's, and lemon juice.
- Add ice and shake until chilled.
- Strain into a lowball glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with mint or blackberries and enjoy!
