Winery Notes
Benvolio Prosecco is an excellent expression of both the variety and the Friuli terroir. The Friuli region is in the northeastern corner of Italy, an area known worldwide for its white wines. Italy’s Friuli region is known for producing exceptional white wines crafted with balanced acidity, sugars and fresh ripe, structured fruit. This prosecco is vibrant, crisp, and refreshing.

Tasting Notes
Benvolio Prosecco sparkling wine is a true expression of Italian prosecco wine and the renowned Friuli region’s terroir – the vibrant, crisp acidity acts as a counterpoint to the flavors of ripe citrus, fresh peaches, lemon, green apples, and grapefruit. The finish is light, refreshing, and crisp.

Vineyard Notes
Our belief is that there is no place on Earth that cherishes the inseparable relationship between food and wine like Italy. So, it was only natural to challenge our local winemakers with the task of sourcing wines that reflect their unique, authentic terroir while possessing outstanding food-pairing ability. Benvolio is made from grapes grown by our farmers, friends and neighbors in Friuli, wines that display true regional flavor and have distinctive personality. Benvolio means “well-wisher” in Italian. As such, it is our wish that you enjoy the unmistakable flavors of our winemakers have selected for you. Benvolio wines are from the Friuli region in the northeastern corner of Italy, an area known worldwide for its white wines. The soil is predominantly gravel and sand, which stresses the vines and allows for superior drainage. The vineyards benefit from a complex combination of microclimates, with warm air coming from the Adriatic Sea during the days, and cool night breezes drifting down from the snow-covered Alps. These are ideal conditions for grapes to mature slowly to perfect ripeness, providing full flavors and rich texture while retaining balanced acidity.
