A rare find, this Famoso is made with fruit from the original vineyard of the Montalti farm in Monte Sasso where the Famoso di Cesena varietal was re-discovered in 2000 when two rows of old vines were found by a local farmer. It’s intensely aromatic with a laser-like acidity, with flavors of lemon and herbs and a saline mineral finish. Production is only 4000 bottles a year.
