Made how wine was made in the ‘olden’ days in the Mantua province, refermented in the bottle, on the lees, aka ‘Col Fondo’ as they say in Italian. This is not your ordinary Lambrusco! Made in the traditional method like champagne, this organic wine has a deep rich purple color with ruby hue and a light effervesence. Its aromas are complex, with notes of cherry, cinnamon, milk chocolate and almond. It has a pleasant freshness and light tannins.
