Product Info
Named for the golden hills of the Santa Lucia Mountain range that frame our San Bernabe Vineyard, Diora is adopted from "D'or," a French term meaning "golden." From the thoughtfully-selected vineyard blocks planted to thrive off of the Monterey Bay's cool ocean breezes to the small-lot winery built in the vineyard, no effort has been spared along Diora's twenty-five year vineyard-to-bottle journey. Led by veteran winemaker James Ewart, Diora is the culmination of experience, patience and an unwavering commitment to craft a signature style all our own. The result is a statement wine overflowing with flavor, depth and personality.
WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Garnet in the glass, aromas of black cherries and brambly blackberry mingle with nuances of brown sugar and mocha. Soft and silky, yet powerful and full-bodied, the palate unfolds with rich layers of ripe plums, dark chocolate, barrel spice and coffee bean. A long, lingering finish imbues a lasting impression of dark, concentrated flavors. - Winemaker, James Ewart
