A powerful single malt with a rich complexity, Valkyrie dials up the smokiness of Highland Park, to reveal the peatier side of the distillery. The whisky opens with aromas of smoked salt, tart dried peach, and fresh-baked dense-grain breads. On the palate, powerful flavors of stone fruit, baking spice, and delicate sweets are woven with a smoky interplay that carries through to a long, complex finish. Awarded the Chairman's Trophy and a score of 99/100 upon release, this is another legendary limited release from the Highland Park distillery.
