Produced from estate vineyards farmed organically on the Rutherford Bench. The resulting wine is powerful, well ballanced by conservative use of oak. Raspberry, and black cherry dominate the palate, hints of coffee beans and hazelnuts on the finish (Concentrated, Red Currant, Full-bodied) Cabernet Sauvignon pairs nicely with foods high in fat and protein, including steak, duck, and game. It's a great complement to hearty stews, ribs, and dark, rich sauces.
