A muscular and intense wine with deep tannins, a rich mouthfeel, sumptuous fruit and tremendous potential for aging. The forceful, concentrated flavors include ripe currants, blackberry and cherry layered with hints of anise and toasted cedar, all echoing through a long, plush finish that is framed with notes of sweet cream.
Mount Peak Gravity Red Blend is named for a remote, hard-to-reach block on the Monte Rosso Vineyard. Its location on the edge of a canyon and its steepness produces grapes with exceptional intensity. Five varieties—Petite Sirah, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grenache—create a vivid expression of the power and depth of the vineyard. This dark, dense wine is layered with black cherry, plum and blackberry tones and hints of cocoa powder and coffee. The full body and luscious mouthfeel are framed by assertive tannins and a long, concentrated finish with truffle, caramel and toasty oak.
