On the nose there is a presence of ripe peach and pineapple aromas combined with subtle notes of coconut, toasted hazelnut, and butter that denotes its aging in oak barrels. The freshness typical from this vintage is perceived in subtle and sparkling notes of lime peel. This wine stands out for its elegant mouth entry and great smoothness. Fine traces of toasted bread add complexity to the mouth of this balanced Chardonnay.
Terrazas Reserva Chardonnay is a blend of the emblematic terroirs of the Estate. Each vineyard’s grapes have unique aromas that reflect the specific altitude and soil. When put together in Terrazas Reserva, they become facets of a layered and complex expression of Mendoza. The fruit is sourced from our high-altitude estate vineyard Finca Caicayen (4100 feet), in Uco Valley, and our winemakers harvest early for fresh acidity and using less new oak for maturation, resulting in a fresh and vibrant style reminiscent of Burgundy!
