This wine is packed with purity and rusticity, filled with aromas of black cherry that intertwine with roasted coffee beans, herbs and a hint of minerality.
The Spring Valley Uriah Red Blend Wine is our most terroir-driven blend, mostly Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Spring Valley Vineyard fruit is hand-picked, hand-sorted, and gently de-stemmed by gravity. The Spring Valley Uriah blend is packed with black cherry flavors. The mid-pallet is focused on fine-grained tannins and the finish is seamless. Please enjoy the Uriah blend with meat-based dishes. In keeping with Spring Valley tradition, hand punch-downs occur twice a day until the end of alcoholic fermentation. The wine is transferred by the pump into barrels for secondary fermentation. Aged 18 months in French oak, 25% new. Every grape is tended by hand, including crop thinning, leaf pulling, and harvesting.
