Department 66 “Others” Red Blend wine comes from winemaker Dave Phinney. This red wine has aromas of ripe blue fruits and berry compote that are complemented by herbal and floral aromas of garrigue and dried lavender. Concentrated plum and dark fruit flavors give way to mountain spices and dried herbs. A persistent backbone of tannin and acidity adds structure, balance and a lengthy finish on the palate. Others, French red wine is appellated from Côtes Catalanes IGP. This red wine is aged in 30% new French oak for 18 months and then aged in the bottle for 5 months before release.
