This pure spirit is then aged for up to 5 years in American oak casks that previously held bourbon at Casa Brugal. There where the barrel houses are positioned north to south to make the most of the Dominican sun. Brugal Anejo welcomes you with rich aromas of vanilla, chocolate and cedarwood. On the palate, notes of butterscotch and baked pie lead into a long and dry finish. Brugal Anejo is equally great as a sipping rum or mixed in long drinks and cocktails. The result is a refined spirit, with all the smoothness of great vodka but all the character of great rum.
