Product Info
Barton & Guestier Vouvray “Les Petites Parcelles”, is a white wine made in France in the Loire Valley region, in the Vouvray appellation. Our white wine comes from small plots located on the hillsides and plateau overlooking the Loire, also called “the royal rivers”. Our Vouvray are made in the famous cellars dug in the “tuffeau” (tufa, variety of limestone). This wine has a natural sweetness by cooling the wine in vats to stop the fermentation and leave its residual sugar and it has a low alcohol content (11.5%) and this wine is also vegan friendly. This white wine has a seductive nose of fruity and floral aromas with a nice refreshing finish on the palate.
Barton & Guestier is one of the oldest and most prestigious wine negociants in Bordeaux. The firm was established in 1725 by Thomas Barton, renowned négociant. Daniel Guestier was a reputed importer of Bordeaux wines into Baltimore, in the British colonies in America, and the one who delivered the wines of Bordeaux that President Thomas Jefferson had ordered from Barton.
Brilliant clear yellow. Seductive nose with lovely fruit aromas (pear, pineapple) and delicate floral notes. Smooth on the palate with a nice refreshing finish.
