This chenin blanc is bursting with a fruit aroma. Upon first sip, it's slightly sweet with a taste of pear. It goes down completely smooth but leaves a bit of an alcohol taste in the mouth. I noticed when the wine warmed up a bit, the alcohol bite went away. It's very light in color, with a barely pale yellow tint to offset the clearness.
