Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis Premier Cru

Jean Marc Brocard started his estate in 1973 after spending time learning the skills and art of winemaking which had been handed down in his family. Still building on this tradition, he is now passing his knowledge on to his son Julien, who has added the dimension of biodynamic production to the estate. The Premier Cru 'Montée de Tonnerre' vineyard providing fruit for this wine is comprised of classic Kimmeridgian Soil. It has alternate layers of limestone and marls containing fossilized shell. The 30 year old vines are farmed completely biodynamically.
