Mezcal Old Fashioned

You can't call us old fashioned with this twist on a classic. By using mezcal instead of bourbon, this drink is sure to be a crowd pleaser. The smokiness of mezcal makes this a perfect drink for any season.
Ingredients
Serves: 1
- 1 ½ oz Mezcal Unión Joven
- 4 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 sugar cube
- Splash of club soda
- Orange wheel
Instructions
- In a lowball glass, muddle bitters, sugar, orange wheel and a splash of club soda
- Remove orange rind, add mezcal, and fill with ice
- Garnish with fresh orange wheel and cherry
