This Shochu is distilled from barley and stored in oak barrels for 3 years before release. You'll certainly see a tinge of yellow from the oak aging - a natural change due to the contact with air. This is a very confectioned spirit with aromas of hard candy and straw nicely mixed together. Great on the rocks but still dry.
