The striking bottle design embodies the history and heritage of Italy’s distinctive regions, while telling the story of Rosolio’s time-honored traditional drinking occasion of Aperitivo. ITALICUS is a modern take on this forgotten category. Produced at a family-owned distillery, established in 1906 in Moncalieri, Torino, ITALICUS is a delicate combination of Roman chamomile from Lazio, lavender, gentian, yellow roses and melissa balm from Northern Italy. These ingredients are macerated together for several days before blending with the bergamot and cedro essential oils to create the final aperitivo.
